- Check for debris
Sometimes small rocks and debris can get stuck under the belts and on the plastic pulley wheel. The best way to avoid this is to try and ride on rock and gravel free surfaces as much as possible. You should check and clean your belts and pulleys regularly. You can use compressed air or a brush to remove any debris.
- Avoid hard braking
Constant hard braking can put extra strain on the belts causing them to break prematurely. To avoid this, apply the brakes gently and come to a stop over a longer distance. Only brake hard when a very quick stop is required.
